An ongoing project documenting the chance occurrences that are an inevitable part of working with an analog medium. Each photograph is the accidental first frame of a roll of film. I did not intend to create any of these images, but I am choosing to embrace the camera as a collaborator with agency rather than simply a tool to be controlled.
